Driver of the year for 2010 will be selected at the 2011
NMTA Annual meeting. The award is based
on a driver's record during
the preceding year.
2011 Driver of the Year
New Mexico's Top Professional Driver Award -- The winning driver is selected from the twelve drivers of the month for the last year.
2010 Drivers of the Month
The New Mexico Truck Driver of the Month is determined monthly by the NM Safety Management Council based on submisssion by NMTA member carriers. Motor Carrier members of NMTA may submit nominations.

The Jim Wilcox Award:
the Jim Wilcox Award for Safety Person of the Year is given to an individual who has shown outstanding qualities while representing the industry throughout the year. Candidates must be actively involved in the loss prevention program and safety activities of a "for hire" or "private carrier" truck fleet. This includes safety directors, safety supervisors, and/or persons responsible for these duties. Full nomination rules are on the application below.
This award will be made at the NMTA 2011 Annual Meeting in May 2011.
