NMTA
is proud to be a full service supplier of J.J. Keller forms and supplies. We
carry the most frequently requested forms, supplies and documents for
walk-in customers. All items in the J.J. Keller catalog are available
for shipment. Members receive a discounted rate.
Highway Watch
Highway Watch puts trucking industry employees on the front line of
defense against terrorism and acts of violence. NMTA is heavily
involved in the training of drivers and other industry
personnel to be part of this volunteer network of "eyes in the workplace". The
Association is making instructional materials, videos, and training
available to members upon request. We urge all carriers to
make Highway Watch® part of the orientation process for new drivers. Highway
Watch® Training is also available in Spanish.
Training
The trucking industry employs highly skilled individuals who need intensive training and refresher courses to be productive workers. Drivers must deal with Hazardous Materials, Hours of Service Rules, Load Securement and a seeming endless list of policies, rules and procedures. Training makes that happen. NMTA works with instructors and assists in organizing these critical training seminars.
Access to Services
As it happens, NMTA is co-located with a full service provider of industry
credentialling, compliance assistance, and consulting. CCS,
with offices in Albuquerque, Clovis and Farmington, serves the wide needs
of the trucking industry to manage the paperwork of trucking.
